Native Woodland Solomon’s Seal is a shade-tolerant perennial plant naturally found in forest understories and woodland environments. It is adapted to cool temperate climates and grows best in moist, well-drained soils rich in organic matter. The plant produces arching stems with alternating leaves and small flowers along the underside of the stems. It spreads slowly through rhizomes and is well suited for shaded garden beds, woodland gardens, and naturalized planting areas.
